Overview of the New  API 5ct 10th edition

The American petroleum Institute (API) has recently released the 10th edition of the API 5CT, which is a standard for casing and Tubing used in the Oil and gas industry. This includes more rigorous inspection procedures, such as visual inspection, dimensional checks, and non-destructive testing. The new edition also emphasizes the importance of regular maintenance and monitoring to ensure the integrity and reliability of these components throughout their service life. The API 5CT 10th edition also addresses the issue of counterfeit and substandard casing and tubing. With the increasing global demand for these products, there has been a rise in the production and distribution of counterfeit and low–quality materials.
